Terms and Conditions of General Attendance and Participation
1. Acceptance of Terms: By purchasing a ticket or attending the NijiPop Culture Festival (the "Festival"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions established by the NijiPop Festival Organizing Committee.
2. Ticket and Badge Policy:
- Your Festival ticket and/or badge serve as a revocable license to attend the Festival.
- Badges must be displayed visibly at all times during the event.
- The Organizing Committee reserves the right to revoke this license for reasons including but not limited to misconduct or safety concerns.
3. Conduct and Behaviour:
- All forms of harassment are strictly prohibited.
- Engaging in illegal activities, including theft and violence, is forbidden.
- Attendees must adhere to instructions from Festival staff and security personnel.
- Respect for the property of the venue and other attendees is required.
4. Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver:
- Attendees acknowledge the risks associated with participating in a public event and assume all responsibility for their safety and security.
- The Organizing Committee is not liable for personal injury or property loss occurring during the Festival.
- By attending, you release the Organizing Committee from any claims related to injuries or losses experienced at the Festival.
5. Recording and Broadcasting:
- General attendees may only use their mobiles phone cameras to take pictures and videos.
- Use of dedicated cameras, DSLRs, camcorders, etc., requires a Community Media Pass, obtained through Community Media Pass pre-event registration.
- Personal, non-commercial recording (photography, video, and audio) is allowed but may be subject to restrictions as per Festival policies or requests by performers and exhibitors.
- Commercial use of recordings requires prior approval from the Organizing Committee.
- The Festival reserves the right to use images or recordings of attendees for promotional purposes.
6. Weapons and Props Policy:
- Functional weapons are strictly prohibited.
- Prop weapons must comply with the Festival's safety guidelines and be approved at designated Weapon Check areas.
- Props must adhere to specific safety and handling protocols set by the Festival.
7. Substance Policy:
- Illegal substances and underage drinking are strictly prohibited.
- Violators will be subject to removal and potential legal action.
8. Age Restrictions:
- Attendees under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Certain areas or events within the Festival may have age restrictions.
9. Event Programming and Schedule:
- The Organizing Committee reserves the right to modify the Festival's programming, guest lineup, and schedule without prior notice.
10. Additional Rules and Compliance:
- Attendees must follow any additional rules set by the Festival venue, the Organizing Committee, and applicable laws.
- Non-compliance may result in expulsion without a refund.
11. Refund Policy:
- All sales are final. The Festival offers no refunds, returns, or exchanges.
- In the event of cancellation, the Organizing Committee is not obligated to refund ticket purchases.
12. Transfer Policy:
- Event pass transfers are allowed up until seven (7) days before the event.
- The receiver of the new event pass will be subject to a 30% surcharge from the Festival on transfer as part of our anti-scalping event measures.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution:
- These terms are governed by the laws of Cebu City, Philippines.
- Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with the laws of that jurisdiction.
