NijiPop Crossplay Competition: Rules and Regulations

Introduction

1.1 These Rules and Regulations (“Rules”) govern the NijiPop Crossplay Competition (“Competition”).

Eligibility

2.1. The Competition is open to all individuals (“Competitors”).

2.2. By registering for the Competition, Competitors agree to be bound by these Rules.

Competition Format

3.1. The Competition will involve Competitors performing a crossplay on stage.

3.2. The performance will consist of the following elements:

  • Walking onto a stage and ramp.
  • Striking 3-4 poses or actions characteristic of the chosen character.
  • Delivering a short in-character introduction of the chosen character, which may include the use of official character lines.

3.3. The total performance time for each Competitor will be 3 minutes.

Registration

4.1. Registration for the Competition will be open until May 18, 2024, or until all available slots are filled, whichever occurs first.

4.2. The registration process will be further detailed by the Organizers.

Competitor Pass

5.1. Upon registration, all Competitors will receive a competitor pass (“Pass”).

5.2. The Pass grants access to specific competition areas as designated by the Organizers.

Disqualification

6.1. The Organizers reserve the right to disqualify any Competitor who:

  • Breaches any of these Rules.
  • Breaches the NijiPop General Equity Policy.
  • Engages in conduct that is deemed disruptive, offensive, or unsafe.
  • Fails to comply with the reasonable directions of the Organizers.

Limitation of Liability

7.1. The Organizers shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage suffered by a Competitor arising from their participation in the Competition, except to the extent such liability cannot be excluded by law.

Governing Law

8.1. These Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Cebu City, Philippines.

Entire Agreement

9.1. These Rules constitute the entire agreement between the Organizers and the Competitors with respect to the Competition and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements.

Amendment

10.1. The Organizers reserve the right to amend these Rules at any time. Any amendments will be posted on the Competition website and will be effective immediately.
